You may find a similar situation reported for Debian, and a proposed

Note that this problem seems to apply for the copy of the coherence
plugin in upstream (Gnome) rhythmbox sources, but no longer in the
coherence plugin's SVN, where this seems to have been fixed, along with
many other formats. as can be seen in :
