still be enabled from appearance preferences even if Compiz has not been

Ok, it after I deleted the files and logged in & out evolution came up
with the wizard again. Here is what I entered:
Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Server Type: IMAP
Server: ebox.rath.org
Connection: TLS
Sending Mail: Sendmail
Timezone: Berlin
Everything else was left at default settings. I then got
