Works fine for me in repeat, shuffle, and linear mode. Does this happen with a minimum number of songs on the playlist? Is the playlist loaded as a .m3u file, or as a group of mp3 files? Also, if you can reproduce this, can you start totem in a terminal, and post the output just before it freezes,
