Same problem with latests Ubuntu releases:
VNC server: vinagre Ubuntu 12.04, Unity (the default, not -2d!)
VNC client: vinagre Ubuntu 11.10
I've also tried decreasing color deept (ex. 8 or 3-bit) or activating jpeg
compression option to improve
connection speed, but there's no way to make dashb

I set user-dirs.dirs (~/.config folder) to have desktop=home=downloads, as I
was used since gnome 2.
Now every time I login there are some overlapped folders and I have to align

I confirm this bug is still present in maverick 10.10.
The partition affected is the same as before (with previuos ubuntu releases),
it is an ext3 logical partition,
labeled and identifies winthout uuid. This is, in fstab:
/dev/sda5 /media/DADA ext3 errors
=
It seems to me that someone would like to bring users from Tracker to
some Mono apps like Beagle.
I wish it is not.
