The workaround was not completely installed, and I enabled the Java window fix.
To install the fix, you have to execute a "make install" command *also* in the
metadata directory of the source. (That is missing from the instructions, but
it should have been obvious, so
The patch does not work for me.
I followed the instructions of Paul, except the upgrade to compiz 0.8.6, since
Ubuntu 10.10 already contains that version.
I enabled the Java fix in the CompizConfig window.
If I open two images with ImageJ, after the opening the second one, the main
window disappe
I experienced the same as Jeff. Two gnome-screensavers are running, and after
the second unlocking, I cannot type.
For me, it is enough to click on another window on the task bar. Then I can
switch back with Alt-TAB, and can type again.
I use Maverick with the regular updates.
