Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Evoution works OK with the SOCKS proxy settings, but it appears to ignore them when a port number is specified in the server settings for outgoing mail. To reproduce it, just put 'servername:25' in the 'Server' configuration option for the SMTP
