I just hit this bug today. The description is perfectly accurate. It
crashed (twice) before I installed gstreamer ugly, and once I installed
it there was no problem.
I would agree that this bug shouldn't be considered major since there is

Binary package hint: evolution-data-server
Just after auto-completing an e-mail address while composing a new
message the background process crashed.
ProblemType: Crash
Architecture: i386
Date: Fri Sep 11 08:13:11 2009
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10
ExecutablePath: /usr/lib/evol
The behavior is much better using the pre-release version. I still get
random crashes and deadlocks, but it's much less frequent.

When hanging up from a ekiga.net echo test call, the Eikga application

I got this same crash again today using the Evolution version packaged
in Karmic
Version: 2.27.90-0ubuntu2
This time I had just applied a message filter a larger collection of
messages that moved some mail to a new folder based on the Subject line.

I found that my gnome-settings-daemon crashed on startup when I had my

~/.config/monitor.xml to ~/.config/monitor.xml-old and restarted the
daemon it started without a problem. My monitor.xml file had two
