1)Ubuntu 10.10;2) I dunno:3) the rules say that one can play either one
or three cards at a time.Only one card at a time was offered, and the
second chance offered was not in the conventional direction -- that is,
the pile would only play back
I start:
Applications>Office>Dictionary>Available Databases
Then I click on the small arrow head appearing after “Available Databases” and
get a Menu:

I downloaded UBUNTU9.04, AMD64, yesterday, 4-23-09.
I selected the German to English dictionary, and was able to get
"finally" from "endlich." Then, I selected the English to German
dictionary and was not able to get "endlich" from "finally.
I have had the same experience -- with two separate UBUNTU 8.04 installations.
I spent considerable time trying to solve the problem. I was unsuccessful. I
gave up. I wiped out the UBUNTU installations and installed Windows. I suspect
it is a virus. I have recently installed UBUNTU 8.10 on sever
