saw an RSS of 600MB on my AMD64 desktop, measured using `sudo smem -tk`.
After a reboot (still without opening the app manually) I see a steady
300MB RSS.
It's the heaviest app in use on my desktop after Firefox.

i worked for a while in an OSS called Spinnaker.io. I understand is annoying to
deal with so many approaches and personalities.

I really like using ubuntu and yes there are changes and improvements

I'm experiencing this in Ubuntu Groovy 20.10 as well, but I generally

When I use xRandr standalone changing the monitor works fine. It's not docked.
It's a monitor attached with VGA.

I just installed the Maverick beta yesterday (clean install) and it
occured from the start. I can reproduce it every time. I've got an Intel
GM965/GL960.
