This bug also affects me. It is a problem in Intrepid.
This isn't an "unstable" bug, it is actually a usability flaw because it
results in a user interaction (click link to navigate, then press backspace
intending to go up a directory) leading to an unintuitive result (deleting the

I also have this bug and can confirm that it exists in the Intrepid
beta. This bug is especially bad if a mount using gvfs/mount.cifs
freezes due to network failure. Gnome-Panel becomes completely unusable
until the relatively long timeout is hit or the mountpoint is forcefully
unmounted. HOWEVER,
I should add that the path to the JDK is set in my .bashrc.

Ubuntu should really consider ditching evolution as its default email
client. About 10 people here at work use Ubuntu and everyone agrees
evolution is just too painful [slow, buggy, & a resource hog] to use, so
we have all switched, one by one, to other email clients.

Evolution eats up all sys
My work around for Evolution is to have a terminal window open with a
kill command set up to kill it. As soon as the memory starts to run
away, as fast as I can I kill the app. If I am not fast enough then
whole desktop freezes. I never should have upgraded to Edgy... ug.

Crash when clickin
Well, after installing nautilus-cd-burner-dbgsym - I don't get the
crash anymore. I have burnt 3 DVDs in a row without error. Two of those
burns were through valgrind if you still are interested in the logs.
I guess your development version fixes this issue. Thanks for your help!

Ok, I installed libglib2.0-0-dbg libgtk2.0-0-dbg, but I couldn't find

This is my set up. I am sourcing files from a couple different physical hard
drives, and copied those files to the "CD/DVD Creator Folder" using drag and
drop in gnome.
