I attempted to change the time display in the top menu bar of the unity
interface (ubuntu 13.04) by going to system settings, time & date,
clock, and selecting the check boxes next to "weekday "and "date and

In Natty 11.04 before the upgrade syncing with the iPod worked perfectly in
Rhythmbox
I have reinstalled rhythmbox:amd64 for Robbert
and reinstalled gstreamer:amd64
both steps did not remedy the problem.

What he expected to happen:
.Start Rhythmbox
.Plug in iPod
.right click on the iPod
.choose synchronize
.a pop up window showing the playlists pops-up
.chooses a number of playlists to synchronize
.Rhythmbox transfers the playlists and tracks to the iPod
.Unplug the iPod
.Listen to music on the i

What I am missing in this whole discussion is the concept of
"Education".
Ubuntu is a different operating system. It's okay for users to learn new
ways of performing tasks they may or may not have performed in other
operating systems. Using wording that is familiar or unfamiliar to them.

This is somewhat similar to my problem. Before downloading Ubuntu 9.04 I
was able to download my hotmail on evolution very well and as soon as I
upgraded to 9.04 I could no longer connect. I get an "Error While
Fetching Mail" message and then when I click on that it tells me I can

When I click on my nick and mark myself as away, nothing happens, or
xchat-gnome crashes.
If it does not crash, clicking on my nick shows that the "Mark as away" tickbox

When trying to 'save as' a new filename, something about the way I use
the mouse to delete part of the name gives either Ubuntu (edgy eft) or
gimp2.2 the impression that I want to grab the old filename and move it
