I will try, but now I don't have a Ubuntu 10.04 CD.
Anyway I am sure it is a problem with my empathy configuration or any other
program running on the computer.
In fact, I have been able to use empathy for a time in 9.10, before it start to
crash my computer.

Ok, I will try to correct this, but I need some hints.
I have based some of my icons in other Tango icons. For example, the
character-picker icon is based on accesories-character-map and
applications-internet. Or the panel-notification-area, which uses the
dialog-info icons.
