@bizauionica Version is `rhythmbox 3.0.2-0ubuntu1` but this problem is
present (at last in all my computers) since previous distributions and
has never been solved :-(
My iPod Classic is totally usefulness if I cannot synchronize it.

Same problem here. I can add that this problem exists in my installation
indeed before to upgrade to 14.04.
