@Ronny Rabuzarus, I did not discuss OTR further with the developers since there was no way to use it at the time. They are always aviable via #telepathy on freenode IRC. Keep me updated if kde-telepathy gets OTR, I have KDE as one of my desktops and that would be a good reason to use KDE more often
