I got mine sorted, using kcontrol changed the preferred theme for
GTK-applications from Qt to simple. Restarted X, and no memory leaks anymore.

Everytime windowlist-applet updates itself a pixmap is sent to Xorg the old one
just isn't removed, this happens with every dynamic applet in my panel. I just
measured and cpufreq-applet takes 101kB more memory whenever cpufreq changes.
Same thing for resizing the panels, etc...

It isn't because of wnck-applet on my computer, the leak happens in other
programs too, if you're not using compiz then my conclusion in bug #37226 rules
out. Is there any way to pinpoint problem further. Closing wnck-applet or any
other program that abuses Xorg releases the memory.
