This is a very irritating thing, and should be easy to solve. The fix is just
changing initial focus!
Hard to understand this has been open for 12 years now.
There's even a risk of data loss by unintentionally overwriting a file
when one types, *as it works just fine on all other OS*, the filenam
(Sorry for #43, wrong bug/thread - but yes, the same goes for .p12 at
the versions stated.)

Actually, with the new audio dialog, the Volume slider at the bottom
doesn't react to scrolling at all. Neither does Balance in the right

flushed to disk immediately, so if you log out quickly after changing a
setting in gnome-volume-control, then it is forgotten. If you wait a

I have upgraded my version from 10.10 to 11.04 in beta 1 release.
When i opened my evolution it showed all my previous mails. I checked all
settings were imported properly. but it kep on showing fetching mails. I am
across a proxy in my offic

Thank you for many suggestions,
I am using a user session and not root, my mistake that i sent you the output
of dpkg -l evolution from SU mode.
I have tried with change in theme, it has resolved a lot of icon errors.
About version my output at command prompt shows
j0053@RDL:~$ cat /etc/lsb-releas
I also reported it upstream, just for consistency:

When you open Seahorse find some password and open its properties
window, CPU usage skyrockets. It's not exactly a major problem, but it
also doesn't seem necessary.

yesterday my evolution gout upgraded
when i use the same command
dpkg -l evolution
the output is:

This also affects me I recently updated to ubuntu 11.04 beta 1 from
ubuntu 10.10. this was happening in alpha 3 also. so i reinstalled
10.10. please help as i thought this bug would have been solved hence
installed the beta 1 but it is still there
