When you unlock the keyring yourself it still fails to unlock ssh keys.
If you do:

App icons will appear with a massive delay (~10 seconds) after launching
an app currently not in the favorites.
Also moving pinned icons within the dock will only appear in the new
location after a similar long time span.

If I understand this correctly it is called date_navigator in the
source. It is mentioned in src/modules/calendar/e-cal-base-shell-
sidebar.c
The construction appears to be at cal_base_shell_sidebar_constructed(),
line 750 at `widget = e_cale
It seems the space is requested by the calendar widget. But this still
has plenty of whitespace.

This particular bug resides within Evolution, since it requests a
minimal size which seems, at least to me, just too big.

Just read that other bug. So this is a ten year old bug that nobody has
bothered addressing. IMHO there is no reason for that limit. Everything
Evolution would need to show with the side bar visible is still viewable
with a smaller width. The limit seems completely arbitrary.

It is the "side bar". If this is visible, Evolution refuses to go below
a certain width (which is just larger than half my screen). Then
maximize-right does not work. How do I remove the size limit with the
"side bar" active?

I installed evolution in Ubuntu 17.10 with the ubuntu software manager.
The system uses german language. It seems, that for evolution the
language pack is missing, because the ui is english.

Not sure if this helps but I'm experiencing the same gnome-session error
as OP on a Debian 8.6 Jessie (amd64) system (regardless of kernel
version, in case that matters) with gnome-session 3.14.0-2.

Yesterday I tried to install VLC non-free from Gnome Software and were
asked to login to Ubuntu One, which do not work as it keeps saying
Password or email is wrong. Obviously neither email or password are
worng when I'm able to write here, after signed in through Ubuntu One in

An strace of the appstreamcli process while it's stuck at 100% CPU shows
nothing at all, so it looks like it got stuck in a loop doing
"something" that needs no syscalls...

I have the same problem, and it happens with both apt-get and synaptic
when I try to update the list of packages.
It has nothing to do with installing without an internet connection, as
for me this just started happening tonight (it worked fine before).
A "workaround" is to remove the appstream p
BTW: always run 'im-config' and 'ibus-setup' as your regular user
(unless you really know what you are doing)!
