Gdm login goes black(for 1-2seconds) after authentication failure

I only have 1 user on my computer.
Steps I fallow to reproduce the bug once the login screen pops up:
1.Hit enter(to get password prompt for my username)
2.Enter wrong password
3.When it says authentication failure I press enter(I don't think this ma
logged in, crashed, I don't have auto-login
I did however run these commands to change the gdm look:
sudo -u gdm gconftool-2 --set --type string --set
/desktop/gnome/interface/gtk_theme HumanLogin
sudo -u gdm gconftool-2 --set --type string --set
/desktop/gnome/background/picture_filename
/usr/s
the only time I've seen it crash was when I update through console and
it just restarts, so it would be really hard to attempt to start the
screen-saver while updating hoping it will crash
