So I installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my HP ProBook 4445s. I applied all
updates on the update manager then installed the FGLRX through
Additional Drivers application.
I then checked the system information if it reports the correct video
driver, since issues with FGLRX were appa

keyboard (Onboard) is automatically set, probably by gnome-accesibility,

since the upgrade to natty, the password dialog sometimes doesn't appear so I
can't unlock my screen.
in that case I only see a blank screen with the mouse cursor. most of the time
i switched to some text-console and back to the xserv
I tried a lot of configurations, at least I really left enough space left
and right of the notification area. whatever I did did not make the skype
icon larger that 1 px (restarting skype for every try).

Yesterday when moving relatively huge amounts of data between hard
drives on my system (using the GUI - drag-and-drop) I discovered that
after some time I had consumed all available memory and all available
swap.
System:
Athlon 64 X2 processor on ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe MoBo.

All work described above was done at the "console" (direclty logged into
the machine - not from a remote session or Samba)
