I have mutter from proposed, and I don't see any newer version of gnome-
shell in the proposed repository.
I've attached the crash file as well. Also, I'm not really sure if the
crash I reproduced is about this bug or not. I've had other crashes that
were filed separately and have different stack
I ran another test of using the touchscreen and managed to make gnome-
shell crash. It looks like apport uploaded it this time, but I couldn't
figure out where it put it. I attached the *.uploaded file associated
with the reproduction. There's some other files in /var/crash, but I
guess they should

I installed the proposed package and tried to test this. My results were
mixed. I used the touchscreen for a while without issues. But then xorg
crashed (and this report was a crash in gnome-shell). Apport refused to
submit the bug reports because apparently there were a few not-updated
I never isolated a way to reproduce this bug, and I haven't encountered
it again (even with keeping the extensions enabled). In fact generally
the gnome-shell crashes have largely stopped. I'm not sure at what point
that was, but for at least the past few days, things that would often
crash gnome-s

I have uninstalled the extensions, rebooted, and was still able to
reproduce the crash. I have uploaded the .crash file per the
instructions you linked.
Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to aid in the
