My touchpad on my EEEPC 901go is multitouch enabled.
In current Karmic this works in gdm's login window. If I start a GNOME-session,
the touchpad switches to single touch mode. If i choose to start a xterm
session the touchpad works just f
I can reproduce this bug with 9.04
(Both, mouse button 6 and 7 decrease brightness on the brightness applet.)

I do not have a real mouse with horizontal scrolling. I emulated this with
synaptics touchpad driver. I tried to enable scrolling in general on my jaunty
system and failed. On a freshly installed intrepid system vertical scrolling
works out of the box but I cannot get horizontal scrolling runnin

Gnome Volume Applet (2.23.4) seems to ignore horizontal scroll events.
Totem (2.23.4) and Rhythmbox (0.11.6) show the same behavior: both left and
right scrolling decrease volume.

I found "/schemas/apps/clock_applet/prefs/unix-time" which is a "schema" and so
cannot be edited using gconf-editor.
I may be more stupid than the average user, but I do not find a way to enable
unix seconds :(

In ubuntu gutsy the clock preferences offered to show the time in unix
seconds. The help page also shows a unix time setting. But it is not
there in intrepid.
