Under updates I had all 4 tabs checked and I used the Ubuntu update
manager which told me there where updates available. When it run it told
me that it will remove Evolution. I thought that I needed to reinstall
it again afterwards, but as can be seen from bug report it broke my
instal

evolution out of ubuntu 8.10 and many peoples email systems are now
