13.10 running in Virtualbox 4.3.6 r91406
/usr/bin/gnome-control-center crashes often.
Can happen at any time, system slows and then "Sorry, Ubuntu 13.10 has

Room->Manage Favorite Rooms presents no rooms, and no "+" button to add them,
for two different Jabber servers.
Join Room dialog will show rooms and allow me to join them. However
there is no provision there to set them as "favorite".

I upgraded to 11.10 on Feb 28 and on Mar 1 it happened again. So we can
expand this bug to cover both 11.04 and 11.10 systems with ATI video.

This was a fresh install. I split the Windows 7 partition on the new
laptop a few months ago, and installed 11.04 from DVD. System is up-to-
date on updates.

After login, at first laptop and HDMI/DVI mounted 1920x1200 monitor
display correct resolution with different desktops (gnome primary on
laptop). After several minutes of use, resolution suddenly changes to
1024x768 and both displays have the same image.
Opening System->Prefe
