There is no connection between case and symbol or ligature.

I expect: When I search and replace "ß" (to change to ß for html) I want
all "ss" left unchanged.

The problem is still there.
But now it seems to me to be just a GUI problem: While all the other fields in
the connection bar (well, the bar just under the menu bar) switching when I
choose a Bookmark, the protocol drop down botton stays on "FTP". But it stays
so also with connections permitting
