an Ubuntu Studio session.
This opens gedit with an untitled document that is already flagged as modified.

The power indicator's menu has the first line repeated. See attached
screenshot.
The menu is correct after logging in, but gets the repeated line some time
later.
I have not noticed any consistent triggering event.
