Sebastien , do not miss understand me, I love Ubuntu. The idea of
having to switch to something else because of this has sort of ruined my
day. I do not want to do it. It is just that for me, and I am sure for
some other people as well, being able to open a file in a new window is
something too fu
Okay, well nautilus is not going to work for me anymore then. The sad
part is that since you have not made it easy to use a better file
browser this means the end of using Ubuntu for me. You should consider
moving in a more user friendly direction.

I just updated to 13.10. So the feature in nautilus to open in a new
window, when you right click on a folder, seems to have vanished. Still
works from the bookmark bar, just not in the main view anymore.

When I reported the bug, the steps to reproduce were, use gedit. This
was actually such a problem that I moved to an earlier version of gedit,
I use gedit a lot. However I just clean installed today (new HDD) and
I should know soon if this is still a problem. If it happens again I

I have also found that the problem is directly tied to it prompting me
for my password. If I run gksu in the terminal to launch it, then it
never crashes. So the crash dose not happen when renicing, it happens
when getting prompted for the password to renice.
