Tested with another users, and the same problem, but after upgrading KDE
to 4.8.3 and Clementine to the dev branch, media keys work again. So in
this case, it was a problem in an official package.

I have also a problem with shortcuts, with the media keys since upgraded
to 12.04, they don't work. But I'm using KDE in Kubuntu. So maybe this
is not a problem in Gnome or Unity, but in a package which both (Ubuntu
& Kubuntu) share.

I have the same problem.
Can this issue be related with the change to Policykit? Because in
Gutsy, (in general with Gnome 2.20) when someone has not had permissions
to change the priority, a message has appeared.

Hmm, that is a good theory... But witch component has the bug? Maybe it is only
one components bug, but maybe many components are the cause of the problem.

Maybe this problem has relation with the opening of another video player
or with some codecs.

I can confirm this bug in Feisty. I think that is a Nautilus problem,
and also the importance should be set to normal because it consumes the
battery power of the laptops!
