i installed VLC player, all movies play in that player ... without any
problems ... !!

I am trying to play video files, mostly avi. On windows the files play without
any problem. But on ubuntu movie player, the video shows horizontal lines only,
and the audio is loud n clear.. no problem with audio. I have tried installing
dvgrab 3
