When trying to drag and drop a file into an open window, the file
appears to go behind the window and the mouse then becomes unresponsive
when over the main desktop; a restart is required to return to normal
use. The only way to move files at the moment it copy and paste.

I am using "pop"... I am not sure what "behind a proxy means"; I am new
to this, so when I set up evolution mail, I used the default settings
which came up for my yahoo accounts.

When I click "send/receive mail," evolution does as it should and
attempts to fetch the mail; however, the program simply times out
without fetching any mail or sending an error message, so I have no idea
what is wrong or how to fix it.
