The bug's still present, but the fix in #7 works for me too.
"as workaround editing /etc/gdm3/custom.conf to uncomment
`WaylandEnable=false` should fix this"

Aha! Hardy mounted twice the cd - one CD icon with a note key (contains
*.wav files) and second without, labeled "AUDIO", which contains
autorun.inf and player.exe
Maybe crash has something to do with this ?
