Are you using NVIDIA driver with TwinView?
My config after reboot the computer is still OK.

Hi, I have cheked the "primary monitor" on the frontal monitor.
It was workig with the ppa fix until the las update.
/etc/X11/xorg.conf:

After the last update unity 4.24.0-0ubuntu2b1vv1 using Nvidia Twinview
configuration the launcher is back to the left (non-primary) monitor. :(
