OK, thanks. As a minor correction, though, the issue is not as you
stated in the most recent note, "only a result of what you are dragging
to (the list view)" but is just the opposite... the issue is dragging
FROM list view TO a browser. The error does not happen using icon view.

No, this is a different issue. I had reviewed Bug #61237 when I posted
this-- it was one the system automatically recommend I review before
