I could not figure out how to change the status to completed/closed so i
left a message in the bug report for that it was fine to close it.

I went to the GParted project features page
http://gparted.sourceforge.net/features.php and ther is no indication of
support for Logical Volume Manager(LVM).
A seperate toolset is probably required to detect and work with LVM

This bug seems to be similar to bug #67130 by I don't think the
workaround helps in my case or maybe I just need more details. Also,
there seems to be additional problems with Gparted recognizing my
logical partitions.
