Daniel, I know it's been some time since we've commented on this and I
just wanted to come back and comment again about the status of all of
this. This graphical issue is still occurring and like you, it happens
when I resize the window with the cursor (click/hold/drag to desired
size).

Mysterious shadow around window when check marking an option box
inside of window
just revisiting this bug report to make an update. i still get the white
box where the wifi signal icon should be when i click the arrow in the
top right corner for the menu located there but it's very rare anymore.
it still seems like i've lost connection when it happens and i've got to

The scrambling issue has repeated itself since my initial bug report. At
the time that it happened, I was only after booting was completed and I
couldn't see or do anything with my laptop until I suspended it with the
power button. On another occasion a few weeks ago, this same issue

When I restart or shutdown, I get a very unusual screen output like a
terminal command had been ran. It's happened for the last few days and I
just installed the beta 1 release yesterday for a fresh install. I'll
upload a video after this comment to show you what's going on.
Fortunately, one of the recent updates has seemingly fixed this issue.
I've tried several things like downloading some files and repeating the
above processes and that weird box hasn't happened yet so looks like
it's been triaged pretty well.

minutes to an hour, my wifi connection will drop and disappear and a
small white box will present where the name of my connection should in
the window for connections, battery percentage/time, etc. I'm attac

pixelation/scrambling of my screen upon opening thunderbird while
firefox is open. if you look at the bottom right hand side of the frame,
you can see a tiny amount of it. it's been worse than that but at least

ok, I'm must confess that I didn't download the daily build for just
ubuntu 17.10. that's what i've been testing lately and I downloaded the
ubuntu gnome daily build 17.10 (for today 2017-07-28) which is weird
because i didn't think anything was going to be separately for gnome
except change ubuntu

After downloading RecordMyDesktop from the gnome software center, it
fails to even open. And I got two crash reports back to back after
installing it. Then I removed the software, reinstalled to no avail, it
still doesn't open.
