On June 16, 2010 I "fixed" the bug on my Linux systems by means of
Renzo's PPA.
Yesterday, the problem appeared again on a Maverick fresh installation.
So I should say that (at least) on one of my Linux box I have the

Usually, I turn on my PC in the morning and I shut it down in the
evening, and no warm reboot is done. Today I rebooted and GDM started
after boot splash screen. So I repeated this: I noticed that GDM won't
