When my laptop (HP Zbook Power G1O) is connected to AC, no 'battery
charging icon' is shown, and the battery percentage doesn't go up, as it
was running on battery, % even goes down sometimes.

Binary package hint: rhythmbox
When Rhythmbox is playing, I cannot use skype for phone conversation. I
have to shut it down. Only then I can call using Skype. it is not
convenient as after I need to restart Rhythmbox and I loose what I was
listening.
