when i try to copy audio cds to the lbrary, the palyer stops after the
3rd or 4th song and even tyhough it says its copying, it doiesnt.

i am unable to play any videos that are commercialy produces in any
player in ubuntu. i have 1 home made video that will play. but none of
the ones i have bought will play pas the opening credits and FBI
warning.

convert all my pc's back to windows xp and vista. I found just now that
i am unable to play commercialy recorded cds also. whereas I cant fix
the problem in linux, I need to go back to the windows system where the

i have not been able to play any dvd's since usaing ubuntu linux 10.10, or any
of the previous versions of ubuntu. when i palce a dvd iin the player and start
any of the installed dvd /movie players i get the same message and results.
the title
in my IBM netvista 8307 61u all the drives worked befoore unbuntu was
installed. now the bios tells that the floppy is "diabled" and when i
try to enable it in system start up devices it is still disabled.
actually says not availiable. in the system configuration. so i have no
idea how to make the
