Yes, this is still an issue. The osd notifications are fine, but the
icon in the systray should turn blue and nothing happens.

I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 and when I do: gksu gnome-terminal the terminal
is opened, but the global menu is not working, the menu is shown like in
the previous versions of Ubuntu, in the same window.

Okay, it's solved.
Adding the evolution ppa to the software resources and updating apt-get solves
the problem.

What I expected to happen:
When I receive new mail, a notification should be shown, and the Mail
Notification Menu should be green.
