I use the alsa audiosink, not esd.
Now, i don't know why it does works since i tried it even
without lanching esd, and it works well. So, i don't know what

ok, it has been magically resolved: if i start the enlightened sound
daemon (esd), gnome-cd works fine and looks at the right device too
(/dev/cdrom doesn't exist anyway).
But i think it should not use esd but gstreamer i
