This problem is pretty major. I ran an update an hour ago and evolution
has already crashed twice with this error when trying to forward
messages. Is it definite that this is really a duplicate of 87034? The
I have not had any sort of evolution crashes in the last week or two and
I can't really reproduce the bug. I think we can close it. If it pops
up again, I'll reopen the bug.

There's one copy of the buddy for each account. I never added them to
the other accounts.
I was running both accounts because, while the namespace is unified
under oscar, there is no way (that I know of) to merge two logins into
one.

I understand the mechanics now but wouldn't it make more sense to run
ntpdate before starting ntpd? My clock was off by almost 18 hours once
ntpd started. The standard ntp polling interval is 64 seconds and the
maximum clock shift is 128ms. At that rate, it will take weeks to shift

Ok I did some digging and I think I have figured out the source of this
behavior. I have both ICQ and AIM accounts. In my setup both accounts
use the OSCAR protocol. OSCAR has now been unified and you can see AIM
users on your ICQ buddy list and vice-versa.

list. Buddies were most definitely not added twice. Manually removing
the duplicates seems to work but this is annoying.

Playback is a bit better but gst-launch is still giving smother
playback.
My gst-launch string is:
gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri="file:///home/mute/Desktop/Modesoft1917.avi"
My guess is that totem is using some sort of video output sink that is
sub-optimal for my setup.

I just tried again recently. I think there were some updates last week.
It works now, but I get a really crappy playback frame rate in Totem.
If I open the file with gst-launch-0.10, it looks really good, so I
think something is wrong in Totem.
