Do you need some info, log file or anything else? 4 years after the
report, this is still an active bug that completely freeze a copy of
files (several dozen of .jpg files in my case and many others).

Now, Evolution crashes more than ever. But I might have something
interesting : The last crash was due to a mail that was still "unread"
even after reading it. But clicking on "mark the mail as read" evolution
crashed.

It was too beautiful to be true. Evolution just crashed when a validated

I didn't have any crash since the installation of the ppa. It seems to
work perfectly.
Maybe it will happen in the next few days but still, I didn't have such
a fluent utilisation of evolution since weeks. I sent several mails
without any crash.
I'm curious of what you did. What was the problem?

I added the ppa, updated the database then updated evolution (I say what
I did in case I did something wrong)
I'll tell you in a few days if it worked. If I forget don't hesitate to
remind me. I read my emails but I have absolutely no memory :P

Since the maj from 10.04 to 10.10 evolution doesn't behaves correctly.
It crashes nearly systematicaly when I want to send en e-mail (quite
disturbing for a mail client). Lately, he crashes when I clicked on the
button to "send a bug".

It happens with every template I create. I'm on Jaunty, the current
Ubuntu version.
Cool if it's solve in Karmic.

Yes, the bug is reproductible. Steps are detailed in my first post. You
just have to create a file using a template (or model, don't know the
exact word in english).
And the date will be the date of the template model, and do not
represent the time at wich you have created your new file.

I wanted to compare date of files for a script, and I test someting.
I created a new folder, whose date is correct. Inside this folder, I
created a new text file, and the date of this file is 28 june 2008. In
fact, today is june 27 2009 !!
