Just to confirm that this bug is indeed fixed on feisty on my machine. diehorsti: what you described sounds like your main volume control is set to a different channel to rhythmbox. Since this isn't a bug per-say, for further advise in how to solve your problem I suggest you use the support mailin

by GNOME capplet I'm assuming you mean in System->Preferences->Keyboard? Generic 105 key (intl.) PC with a United Kingdom layout. I should add however that all my multi-media keys work (at least the default ones like volume up, down, mute, etc... ). What doesn't work is if I try and set new ones
