The situation here is deteriorating: My NWZ-S618F is now completely
useless: Nautilus tries to open it as "gphoto2://[usb:002,006]/",
Rhythmbox won't recognize it as an audio player, and the workaround
presented in this bug no longer works.

Sebastien: While the original reporter may have been unaware of the
modifier key, I'd say this report is still valid. Even when holding
the modifier key down, I was unable to drag a panel from my external
monitor back onto my laptop screen.
