Okay after doing so more digging I discovered that defining custom keyboard shortcuts does work but it apparently does not like the FN+F3 key. It puts it down as "Battery". The same goes for the ThinkVantage button - it puts down as Launch1 and apparently the system will not interpret those. If I a
