Hi, Need some help in selecting the right patches to get the light-
themes working on openSUSE :) I've built murrine from source and
installed the latest light-themes package in my openSUSE install.
However, I'm stuck with the metacity button issue. I've applied the
13_better_support_for_button_lay
Then I guess the google-chrome package also needs to be checked, as its
exhibiting the same behavior?

Would you need any more information on this? I forgot to mention- this is not
only a problem with my application Labview, but also with Google Chrome which
is directly installed from Google's repos using Synaptic/apt-get.

items listed are:-

Yes, the entries are listed in /usr/share/applications, but don't appear
in the main menu. I'm not sure if they ever did run /usr/share/gnome-
menus/update-gnome-menus-cache in Karmic, but its working there without
any problems.
I copied the missing entries to ~/.local/share/applications and they

A fresh install of Lucid Lynx, and I tried to install Google Chrome from
the repos. It is installed and I can run it from the command line as
google-chrome, but it does not show up in the menu under Internet. I'm
