[Bug 1649723] [NEW] Preview of pages sometimes empty

Public bug reported: With an PDF file like testpics.pdf, which contains a image on every page, scrolling in the preview area results in that area being empty. Scrolling again shows the previews again after some tries. This does also happen with PDF files like test.pdf, which only contains text.
