Same problem here, however it only happens if LANG=hu_HU.UTF-8
If I use LANG=C the problem did not occurred.

I think the same happened to me.
Nautilus hangs, one thread uses max. cpu, and I can only see the blank
directory, no icons displayed.
I hope this GDB backtrace helps. I started nautilus from gdb, reproduced
the error and stopped natilus with Ctrl+C two times.
