Thanks for the bug report. Please start by removing any locally
installed extensions:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
rm -rf extensions
and then log in again. If the problem persists after that then while it
is happening please run:
journalctl -b0 > journal.txt
ps -e -o pid,pcpu,comm --so
It looks like the log message most related to this crash in the
automated crash reports is:
meta_drm_buffer_gbm_new_lock_front failed: drmModeAddFB2WithModifiers
failed: Invalid argument

The lock/unlock sequence can be broken by buggy gnome-shell extensions
crashing when they get told to deactivate/reactivate, so please start by
removing any local extensions:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
rm -rf extensions
