Opening as part of response to support ticket.
After boot, GDM does not prompt for smartcard authentication correctly.
It is possible to strike Esc and get GDM to prompt for a username and a
smartcard

bare metal win 11 to bare metal ubuntu 24.04 with 46.0-0ubuntu5.1 and nvidia

Connect from win to ubuntu via RDP. initially lets you choose the user
and enter a password. right after that, there is a grey screen, the
mouse is in the "loading" icon, and then it is fine.
I tested the proposed fix for jammy and it did solve the issue for me. I
upgraded both the libmutter-10-0 and mutter package (which also installs
the updated dependencies listed below) and then rebooted. The
libmutter-10-0 dependency appears to be necessary to remove the lag
issues but the new vers

It happens in Firefox and Thunderbird, only on Hebrew (RTL) menus, and
on bookmarks toolbar folders (Firefox), when hoovering over them. The
first time will be ok but flashings start from the second attempt. See
attached videos.
