This is also happening for me. It takes multiple tries to launch some of
my snap applications like Discord, Zoom, and Slack from my Application
Menu. I don't have this problem for IntelliJ Ultimate. It seemed like a
lot of the applications that are having this issue rely on core22, but I
don't know

Noble also has 1:45.0-1ubuntu3, with the same fix. This all started
before noble was released, hence the version collision, but I'm pretty
sure that throughout the devel cycle, noble will get a gnome-control-
center version bump, so no harm in releasing mantic with this version
now.

I could reproduce it.
The old installer makes use of the time zone location to "guess" the
desired locale, but that is apparently not the case with the flutter
based installer (at least not for the English variants).
